Maternity Coaching
Empowering parents on their journey
Embrace the return to work with confidence
Drawing on the foundations of executive coaching and first hand experience, maternity coaching supports new parents for the best start possible.

What is maternity coaching?

Maternity coaching is a specialist, confidential form of coaching which gives
new parents space and time for reflection and focus. Juggling young children and
returning to work is not easy. Sleepless nights, a dip in confidence and crisis of identity make
this a pinch point in 45% of women's careers.
By engaging in Maternity Coaching parents gain clarity, reconnect with their strengths
and what they love about their job making their return
to work calmer and more confident.

How it works?
Maternity Coaching can be delivered in 1:1 or group sessions depending on the needs
of the business or individual. By the very nature of this form of coaching there
is a large degree of flexibility with regards to the number of sessions and duration of those.
1:1 Maternity Coaching
This form of Maternity Coaching is well suited for smaller teams and organisations.
Individuals explore their own challenges and set personal goals. Bespoke written exercises enable
delegates to focus on their individual challenges, navigating their return in a positive way.
Group Maternity Coaching
Group Maternity coaching is a great option for larger organisations where a number
of team members may be returning at a similar time.
A huge sense of solidarity comes from these session, discussions around
anticipated challenges mean anxieties are diffused, new parents feel calmer about their return.

Sessions can be delivered virtually or face to face depending on location.

About me...

Combining experience in executive coaching and having had three children I am passionate about helping new parents think beyond the delivery suite, to talk about how your baby has impacted your confidence, identity, relationships. Maternity Coaching allows time to gain perspective
at a time that can feel overwhelming.
Having children is the most incredible privilege, the most rewarding job in the world, but one that requires you to be on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year
which can be exhausting and daunting especially when trying to navigate your way back to work.

Why the new parent coach matters to me
Following on from a degree in Human Communications (Sociology, Psychology and Physiology) and over a decade of experience in marketing I wanted to embark on a new career that would give me the opportunity to support parents in a way that could make a real difference. Drawing on the foundations of executive coaching and the first hand experience of having three children I feel I can support parents on the start of their new journey when the world shifts focus. I have navigated childcare options plus the constant juggle and re-evaluation of priorities. Through maternity coaching I want to make it a more positive journey for new parents.
